We might think of the earth as the center of our universe, because we live here, but in actuality we are just a tiny speck in the universe. We are but a speck in the system that holds our earth in its orbit. Out of all of the solar systems with planets, our earth is the only planet we know of that is able to sustain life; this is the only place we have to live, and over time our earth is showing signs of becoming unhealthy. We don’t have another planet we can fly off to if we destroy this one, so we have to be serious about sustaining the earth by employing the wisdom that the science of earth ecology has given us.

The science of social, economics and ecology sustainability has provided new ways to make the future better for the generations that follow us. Over the years we have learned to do better with the issues that are important to the survival of humankind due to sustainability studies. We have learned to make use of sustainable forms of energy, rather than depleting our natural resources. Researchers are continuing to use the concepts from the studies to make plans and working models to promote a sustainable environment. The environment could be a work, sociopolitical or natural environment.

Restoration ecology is the science of renewing and repairing a damaged or destroyed habitat or ecosystem. The practice has been around for thousands of years, but the word restoration ecology wasn’t coined, nor did become a science with research studies until the late 1980s. Conservation and restoration ecology not only benefits wildlife, but it also benefits us, because the different ecosystems provide us with water and air purification, climate control, decomposition of waste products, while providing us with food, water, timber and fuel.

Nature conservancy does not have to be at odds with 21st century development. There are lots of creative ways to conserve nature so that we, and our children, can live in a beautiful and healthy world while at the same time furthering our economic goals. The development, sustainability and distribution of renewable energy can both protect the environment and help our society develop in the 21st century. Renewable energy is the energy that comes from natural sources such as sunlight, wind, water and heat. It is renewable because it is naturally replenished as compared to the energy that we get from oil and coal which is believed to have a finite amount.

Freshwater ecology is the study of the environment of freshwater. This includes the plants, animals and the living conditions in freshwater. Understanding not only what lives in freshwater but how these ecosystems work together or interact with each other is increasingly important. The more people understand about freshwater ecology, the more they can work to protect these very fragile living environments. There are many problems in the ecology of the freshwater ecosystem. Many human changes have left these systems fragile and broken. And yet, many can be repaired or at least saved by stopping the problems.

It has long been known that governments and businesses discredited the media for global warming and climate change information. Much of the information on global warming and climate change was considered to be sensationalism, or an outright hoax aimed at scaring the average citizen. However, it is becoming even more difficult to discredit the efforts of scientists all over the world who have joined together to bring global warming and climate change information and education to the forefront.

The dictionary defines a freak of nature as a thing or occurrence that is unusual, irregular or abnormal. What exactly is a freak of nature? Is it just a figure of speech – something that teenagers say about one another in the high school hallway or do freaks of nature really exist? Human beings sometimes need to be reminded that they cannot control everything in the natural world. There are forces of nature that are outside of human control and humans must learn to adapt, rather than control them. The forces of nature for which we can prepare but not prevent include earthquakes, storms and, some of the natural tendencies of wild animals.

The most critical effects of global warming that we are seeing across the globe today have already begun to change the face of the earth and warm up the atmosphere. The cause of global warming is linked directly to greenhouse gas emissions, and these deadly gases stay within the earth’s atmosphere like a blanket of heat. The trapped gases are unable to escape into space therefore heating the planet and wrecking havoc along the way.

Climate change global warming issues have made worldwide headlines. Every concerned citizen is now tuned in to climate change global warming information, issues, and ways they too can help solve the situation. However, the status of governments throughout the world is not equal in terms of greenhouse gas emissions and the ability to pay for the solutions to repair the effects of climate change global warming.

The view of the Earth from outer space is spectacular. Surrounding the planet though not seen on Earth is a thin ring of gas, very visible in the great beyond. This very ring of gas is what helps sustain all organisms on our great planet. This sphere of gas has an important function in the regulation of the sun’s ultra violet rays entering and leaving the planet as heat and energy. It is this very ring of gas that has been implicated in the research on the causes of climate change.
